The Knoxville Zoo says winter is a great time to see the animals, and are offering a great deal to encourage visitors.
The zoo is offering "Buy One, Get One Free" admission tickets during the month of December. Half-price admission tickets can be purchased at the zoo ticket window during regular zoo hours and online at knoxvillezoo.org.
The zoo says many of the animals, including red pandas and river otters, really enjoy the cooler weather.
You can also spend some time with Santa Claus. Santa's Village will be openDecember 4th through 7th and 11th through 14th from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. each day.
