Feeling a little down after the big day? Perk up at a place built just for holiday cheer.
At The Incredible Christmas Place, bells jingle, lights twinkle, reindeer fly, and people shop. It's a place where people from across the country can relive the magic of Christmas, even after the presents have been torn to shreds.
People come from all over. The Kirk family is searching for a snowman. David and Chelsea and their daughters Olivia and Lily are visiting East Tennessee from Virginia.
"I've never seen so many Christmas things all in one spot," Chelsea said.
Thelma Hood from Florida has been to the store before and knows what she wants
"An Angel tree topper. We haven't found that room yet but we're headed there," she said.
The family-owned and managed store has been a fixture in Pigeon Forge for 32 years.
"We celebrate Christmas 365 days a year," owner Toby Barnes said.
The day after Christmas it is business as usual at the Incredible Christmas Place. But Santa, understandably, is taking some time off.
"We'll give you the next few days off after Christmas. So he's back in the North Pole busy getting ready for next Christmas," Toby said.
Here, there's no stress. Just merry folks strolling and extending the Christmas spirit.
"We're Christmas all year long, the big build up. Then all the sudden Christmas Day, we're closed for Christmas Day, and I miss it. It's good to be at home with the kids and family and all but I can't wait until December 26 because we get to open up again and start all over again," he said.
After all, Christmas is only 364 days away.
The Incredible Christmas Place is open almost every day of the year until 10 p.m.
