Send The Love: Blount County family cheers on healthcare workers

They provided some Easter-themed inspiration to healthcare workers and patients.

BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn. — Steve "Slim" Stilts is well known in Blount County for his generous hospitality.

Sunday was his wife's birthday, and to celebrate, he took his wife and some friends to Blount Memorial Hospital where they provided some Easter-themed inspiration to healthcare workers and patients.

Stilts talked about why he decided to support healthcare workers.

"I wanted to reach out to the people at Blount Memorial Hospital and sort of show our thanks to the doctors and nurses," Stilts said. "Everybody's looking for a reason to smile right now."
