Crazy Cubans food truck helping feed locals during coronavirus outbreak

They are offering to pick up food and medicine for anyone who cannot leave their house and to cook for anyone who cannot cook themselves.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A local food truck is helping out during the coronavirus outbreak.

The Chavez family, who owns the Crazy Cubans truck, said they love to pay things forward.

They are offering to pick up food and medicine for anyone who cannot leave their house and to cook for anyone who cannot cook themselves.

They said they want to also give others a way to help out.

"Rather than sit at home and get more scared, we decided to go out and help our community and help our neighbors," owner Eddie Chavez said.
