KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Looks like Candace Parker is about to add a new member to the roster.
The Lady Vol for Life announced her pregnancy with Anna Petrakova Thursday afternoon. The family of four is expecting baby Parker in spring 2024.
"Parker starting 5 loading," Parker said in a post. "Mama and Mommy are switching from man-2-man to zone defense this spring! After four years in the game we are focused on building our roster. We know this rookie will add to our depth chart and contribute versatility to our team."
Parker also said she hopes the new addition will bring "IQ, hustle, length, athleticism and passion" to the family.
