This eggnog cake recipe will be a hit for Christmas

The Museum of Appalachia uses eggnog instead of milk in their cake recipe and it's as delicious as you would imagine it would be.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Eggnog Cake
Prepared by the Museum of Appalachia


Eggnog Icing

4 sticks butter
2 boxes powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2  cup eggnog

Eggnog Cake

2 sticks butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups plain flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. tsp nutmeg
1 cup eggnog

Directions

Bake @ 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes
