They turn off the lights and pump up the music.
It's the G-Funk glow-in-the-dark dance class.
"It's just a place for you to come home and get your fit on," Gretchen Rivers said.
She is committed to health and fitness now, but she once weighed more than 300 pounds.
"I was sitting on my front porch watching my 3-year-old son," Rivers said. "He was in the drive way and he started running toward the road and a car was coming and I knew there was no way I was going to get up in time to save him. Luckily the car stopped and nothing happened. He's 8 now, but I knew if that something had happened that would have been on me."
She started working out at home, and then moved on to fitness classes and better nutrition and becoming an instructor.
"When I started working out I saw that I could do more and ended up doing more then became an instructor," she said. "Prayed about it and something said you've got to share this with your community what you learned."
Gretchen was inspired to share her positive attitude and her own fitness journey with others. That's why she opened her own place she calls G Force Fitness.
"We're a no judgment zone. So it doesn't matter your age, your sex, it doesn't matter your fitness level where you are in your journey we are here and we really are a fit family," she said.
Her fitness journey includes changing her lifestyle. Over the years has lost more than 100 pounds and 100 inches.
"Right now I'm struggling with getting my baby weight off. I just had a baby," she said. "Learning now that you have to be patient with yourself and you have to be forgiving to yourself."
A free program is underway called Get Fit Seymour. She offers it once a year - it's full for 2018 - but the non-profit endeavor is another way to give back.
She is always looking for new fitness options
"We have a ninja warrior course coming up - 13 different courses. Just what you see on TV. We're going to have some of those out here with a 10-foot warped wall, we've got our hanging grips, the unstable bridge, we've also got a Spartan course that's coming up too," she said.
And there's always G Funk glow-in-the-dark dance class.
G-Force Fitness is in Seymour on Chilhowee School Road.
