Dollywood's newest roller coaster will be featured on History's hit TV series "American Pickers."
The FireChaser Express is a tribute to firefighters who kept the Smoky Mountains safe in the early 1940's. To find period pieces for the ride, coaster designers enlisted the help of the "American Pickers" crew.
After receiving a wish list from ride designers, American Pickers' Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz set out on a journey to find fun and rare items to include in the unique theming of FireChaser Express.
You can see the antiques they found for the ride, and Dolly Parton herself, in the new episode. It debuts Wednesday, May 7, at 9 p.m. ET on History.
