PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. — The Pigeon Forge Fire Department has announced a new 2020 Wildfire Prevention campaign including two educational videos targeted to residents and visitors due to wildfire hazards in the area.
According to a release, Pigeon Forge Fire Department used a federal grant to contract a city commissioned Pennsylvania-based video production crew to provide the public with fire and safety tips.
The first video provides visitors with information and fire safety tips. The second video is targeted to local residents
The second video features a resident who lost his home in 2016.
The City of Pigeon Forge works with the National Fire Protection Association to help teach communities and residents about how to adapt to living with wildfire hazards.
