KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — UPDATE: Thompson-Boling Arena Box Office for Concerts and Special Events will not be open for regular ticket sales on Friday, Nov. 22. Tickets must be purchased online or charged by phone at (865) 656-4444.
The Zac Brown Band will travel across the U.S. over Spring 2020 for The Owl Tour, and will stop in Knoxville to play a show. On March 5, they will play a show in Thompson-Boling Arena, alongside special guests Amos Lee and Poo Bear.
Tickets go on sale next Friday, Nov. 22 at 12 p.m., and pre-sale starts Tuesday, Nov. 19. They start at $39.50 but there will tickets will also be available at $59.59, $79.50 and $99.50, plus any service charges.
VIP options will also be available. These packages include backstage tours, merchandise vouchers and access to a lounge with complimentary food and drinks.
The arena can seat a little over 21,000 people and regularly hosts large events like this in the past. The arena has a clear bag policy, which means people can only bring a single clear bag into the arena, and it cannot be larger than 12 inches by six inches by 12 inches. Alternatively, attendees can bring in a one-gallon, clear, resealable and plastic storage bag.
The band is the third hit-musical performance to announce an upcoming show in Knoxville. Garth Brooks is also slated to perform at Neyland Stadium on Nov. 16, and Elton John recently announced he will stop at Knoxville June 6, 2020 during his Farewell tour.
The tour for The Zac Brown Band starts Feb. 28 and will last until July 25.
