(WBIR - LOS ANGELES) What a memorable night in Los Angeles, not just because our two local singers advanced to the finals of "The Voice," but also because Jordan Smith and Emily Ann Roberts are great people.
Over the past couple of months, they and their families, have shown humility, class and pride in where they come from.
In a world that can be all about self, they have shown true appreciation for the support of our viewing area. Faith is at the forefront of their interviews with us, and that has never wavered.
They were overjoyed to move on to the finals, but each was concerned about the contestants that did not. That says more to me than any voice.
The finals of "The Voice" airs Monday and Tuesday at 8 p.m. on WBIR.
