They say that Knoxville is just some college town filled with mountains and Vol fans, but what if we told you that Rocky Top throws festivals throughout the year, and this weekend one of them is about to light up the city? Would you believe it?
We hope you said yes because the 18th Annual Rossini Festival International Street Fair is taking over downtown, on Saturday, April 13, from 10 a.m to 9 p.m
This year thousands of festival performances and vendors are hitting almost every street from Market Square, to Krutch Park, to Krutch Mark extensions, Church Avenue, Union Avenue, Clinch Avenue, and even the Republic Parking lot by Gay Street and Cumberland Avenue.
Let's take a deep breath because the Rossini Festival International Street Fair is about to shut the city down, with an all-new look, food, games, and music to move your soul!
Street parking will be prohibited between 8 p.m. Friday through 6 a.m. Sunday, in certain areas of Market Street, Clinch, Union and Church, as well as the west side of Gay Street between Cumberland and Union avenues, but don't fret.
