An East Tennessee High School student who took his talents to Hollywood did not make it to the next round of American Idol.
The judges cut Knoxville native Briston Maroney Wednesday. The 15-year-old at Catholic High School made the top 30, but is not moving on.
However, Nashvile native Ben Briley is moving on. He wore a Vols hat during Wednesday's performance and said he's excited for the next step.
