Gatlinburg mascot spoofs viral bear video

Zeno, the Gatlinburg mascot, shows WBIR's Stoney Sharp what he thinks a wild bear had in mind.
WBIR's Stoney Sharp talks with 'Zeno' the bear before the furry Gatlinburg mascot 'retraced' a wild bear's path.

(WBIR-Knoxville) A wild bear created an unforgettable scene Sunday in Downtown Gatlinburg.

Tricia Alexander used her cell phone to film the animal's city excursion. Alexander's video is being shared by thousands of Facebook members.

WBIR's Live at 5 at 4 asked Zeno, Gatlinburg's city mascot, to recreate the memorable moment.

While filming the spoof, Zeno eats a gigantic stack of pancakes at the Pancake Pantry. He then sneaks candy out of the Ole Smoky Candy Kitchen. The furry, fake bear attempts an early getaway by jumping in a vehicle at the Hollywood Star Cars Museum. Zeno ended his trip after a long stay inside Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery.
