Free community concert, UNITE Knoxville, coming to Food City Center to worship the name of Jesus

According to the movement, the goal of the event is to unite the city by coming together under one name: Jesus Christ.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The UNITE movement is making a stop in Knoxville intending to unite the community under the name of Jesus.

The two-day community event will take place at Food City Center on Friday, July 19 and Saturday, July 20, with both start times at 6:30 p.m.

Gospel singer CeCe Winans, King & Country, Crowder, VFLs Josh Dobbs and Hendon Hooker, Passion Music and KB will be in attendance, along with a message from Scott Dawson. 

UNITE is a movement that seeks to bring communities across the country together under the name of Jesus. They said over the last three years, they have seen over 41,000 people join the cause and thousands make decisions for Christ.

"From students, young adults, senior adults, and everyone in between, we believe that every person should have the opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ," UNITE said.

The movement has been to Las Vegas, Nevada, San Antonio, Texas and Pensacola, Florida.
