KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Southern Skies Music & Whiskey Festival is returning to downtown Knoxville on Saturday, May 11.
Known as an "authentically Knoxville celebration of music and community," the 2024 event will feature Old Crow Medicine Show alongside The Dirty Guv’nahs, Maggie Rose, Amythyst Kiah, Grace Bowers & the Hodge Podge and Wyatt Ellis.
Curated by The Dirty Guv'nahs, they hoped that having the festival in Knoxville would "keep the people happy for many years to come."
The performances will take place on the Performance Lawn. Artists are scheduled to perform at the following times:
- Wyatt Ellis - 12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.
- Grace Bowers & The Hodge Podge - 1:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Amythyst Kiah - 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
- Maggie Rose - 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
- The Dirty Guv'nahs - 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
- Old Crow Medicine Show - 8:15 p.m. to 10 p.m.
For parking, downtown has many free parking spaces on weekdays after 6 p.m. and all day on weekends in municipal-owned garages. The following lots and garages that are close to World's Fair Park are free:
- 11th Street Garage
- The World's Fair Park North Lot
- The Fort Kid Lot
- The Locust Street Garage
General tickets are $55. They include admission to World's Fair Park, access to food vendors, craft beer, wine, free water stations, the Maker Market and more.
