Spring is right around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than with some furry friends? Young-Williams Animal Center will be having its 13th annual Mardi Growl parade in downtown Knoxville on Saturday, March 7 at 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
The event is the biggest fundraiser of the year for Young-Williams, and they are expecting over 15,000 participants and their pets to take part in the parade.

The Mardi Growl parade will take place in the streets of downtown Knoxville, starting in the Old City and finishing in Market Square and Krutch Park. Vendors and food trucks will be set up in Market Square throughout the event.
Young-Williams says it is their goal to find a home for every pet, and this event helps provide services to animals before they are able to find their forever homes.
