KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Ghosts, zombies, superheroes and more will fill the University of Tennessee Gardens Knoxville on Sunday. They will just be smaller than some people are used to.
The ninth annual Howl-O-Ween Pooch Parade and Pet Expo will kick off at around 1 p.m. off Neyland Drive. The event is sponsored by the UT Gardens and the UT College of Veterinary Medicine and it includes a judged costume parade for dogs. There will also be an expo of educational booths, pet businesses and rescue groups.
Pet owners will be able to grab a meal from food trucks, and a pet food drive will help benefit the Companion Animal Initiative of Tennessee.
The event will go on rain or shine. It is expected to last until around 5 p.m.
