Here are the road closures in downtown Knoxville on the Fourth of July

The Henley Bridge will be closed to car and pedestrian traffic on July 4 from 4 p.m. to midnight.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The City of Knoxville announced the Henley Bridge will be closed during the Festival on the 4th celebration. 

The Henley Bridge will be closed to car and pedestrian traffic on July 4 from 4 p.m. to midnight. 

The Gay Street Bridge remains closed as it awaits state inspection and repairs.

There is a detour at Summit Hill Drive to Hill Avenue to James White Parkway and at Church Avenue to Howard Baker Drive to Hill Avenue to James White Parkway for southbound travelers

A detour will be located at Moody Avenue to James White Parkway for northbound Chapman Highway travelers. 

World's Fair Park Drive between Clinch and Grand Avenues will be closed to car traffic between 2 and 11 p.m. Clinch Avenue between Henley and 11th Streets will also close.

Parking is free on Thursday at all city-owned garages.
