KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Opera's Rossini Festival is planned for April 20 and April 21 on Gay Street.
The annual international street fair celebrates culture in East Tennessee.
This year's event features more than 40 food vendors that will be serving cuisine from all parts of the world. There will be more than 75 artisan vendors along Gay Street as part of the Rossini Festival.
Attendees can also enjoy performances across four outdoor stages, where people will perform opera, classical, jazz, gospel and ethnic music. Ballet, modern and ethnic dance will also be featured.
People can also participate in the Journey Around the World Scavenger hunt and a silent disco. Admission to the festival is free, however there is a fee associated with the silent disco.
Performances are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on April 20, and from noon until 6 p.m. on April 21.
Performances will be at the Market Square Garage, Union Avenue, Clinch Avenue Stage and South Market Stage.
