Volunteer East Tennessee launched the 2019 Holiday Guide to Volunteering, a free resource list full of different ways to give back to local nonprofits. The guide features dozens of volunteer opportunities during the extended holiday season from November all the way through January.

The guide offers every type of volunteer event for everyone from Knoxville Track Club's annual Turkey Trot to decking the halls of Ijams Nature Center or even celebrate the merry season at The Muse Knoxville's Gingerbread Breakfast.

Individuals and groups can connect with over 25 nonprofit and community organizers included in this year's guide.

Onsite service projects are available for companies and groups that can be completed in the office or an offsite location.

“Our Holiday Guide to Volunteering is the best way to find a way to give back during the busy holiday season,” said Alyson Gallaher, Executive Director of Volunteer East Tennessee.  “Having a resource like this makes finding an opportunity that fits your interest and schedule very easy.”
