Repticon is coming to Knoxville next month

Repticon brings the world of reptiles and exotic animals together and to help people learn more.

Repticon, a recognized leader in hosting reptile and exotic expos throughout the United States, will be in Knoxville on November 9 and 10.

Repticon will include a mixture of vendors, breeders and educators.

This event is family-oriented and a fun way to give guests the opportunity to learn about animals that may not normally be found in local pet stores. Seminars on various animal-related topics will be hosted by experts who study in the field of herpetology.

Guests are welcome to shop for a new family pet among the hundreds of reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, spiders and small exotic animals. Repticon is also the perfect place to get merchandise, cages, supplies and feeders.

Expert advice will be available on how to care for a new member that people may be wanting to add to their household.

Live interactions with the animals will be at many of the vendors to give people the chance to learn more about the animals. Free-entry raffles will be held frequently during both days of the events to give guests to chance to win coveted prizes.

The Repticon expo will be held at the Kerbela Shriners building. It will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children 5-12 and children under 5 are admitted for free. VIP and advance tickets are available for purchase at their website.
