Knoxville Children's Theatre busy with auditions, acting classes and January production

There are still a few chances left to see Alice in Wonderland. The play runs through Feb. 2.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — From Peter Rabbit auditions to acting classes to preparing for another performance of Alice in Wonderland, the kids at the Knoxville Children's Theatre are busy.

There are still a few chances left to see Alice in Wonderland. The play runs through Feb. 2, but actors are already getting ready for future productions. Junie B. Jones The Musical Jr. opens Feb. 21,  and auditions for the theatre's upcoming adaptation of the children's novel, "The Tale of Peter the Rabbit" took place Wednesday afternoon. That play is slated to run April 3 through April 19. 

In addition to its regular productions, the theatre stays busy nearly every afternoon with acting classes throughout the winter.
