Here are some events taking place in Knoxville from Thursday, Oct. 26 to Wednesday, Nov. 1.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. —

Thursday

The Frieson Black Cultural Center is hosting a Black Maternal Health Community Think-Tank at 5:30 p.m. This panel discussion will bring together local community leaders to share and discuss innovative ideas for addressing Black maternal health disparities in Knox County. 

The Bark is having a Clay Pawprint & Plants event at 6 p.m. Participants will be able to make a clay pawprint with their pup. Tickets include pet-safe clay, mold, mosaic decor, live plants and beer. Tickets are $25. 

Friday

The Blount Mansion's Historically Haunting Halloween Tours begin at 8 p.m. Explore Blount Mansion and learn about the chilling history of the Blount family, the city of Knoxville and beyond. Tours will be conducted at 8 p.m., 8:30 p.m., 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 and you can buy them here. 

The Old Sevier Spooky Streets event is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sevier Avenue. This community-wide, family-friendly event will feature trick-or-treating, crafts, movies outside, mummy bowling, fortune-telling, snacks and more. Costumes are encouraged.

Saturday

IJams is hosting a Scare Fair at Mead's Quarry from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be spooky items from local handmade artists and crafters, a taco food truck, a beer garden, music and more. Costumes are encouraged and this event is free for everyone. 

The East Tennessee Historical Society is hosting Monsters at the Museum from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This fun event will feature a variety of Halloween-themed children's crafts, story times and walking tours. Fill your treat bags while trick-or-treating in the Voices of the Land gallery and learn about Halloween histories and eerie Victorian mourning customs. 

The Del Rio Days Festival is returning to Cocke County. Taking place at Jones Nature Center, this two-day event will have food vendors, helicopter rides, craft vendors, live music and more. The event is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Helicopter rides are $30 per person. 

New Market Fire and Rescue is having a Halloween Special from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. There will be live music featuring Connie Lowe and Dixie Rose Band, a dance and costume contest with a cash prize, free hayrides and treats for the kids. Admission is $5.

Sunday 

Fall into fun at the Knoxville Botanical Garden & Arboretum’s Annual Fall Festival at 2743 Wimpole Avenue. There will be hay rides, lawn games, yoga, crafts, dance performers, food and more. This event is free and family-friendly. 

The Jackson Terminal in the Old City is hosting a Trunk or Treat event from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. This indoor celebration will be fun, safe and have a lot of candy and games. 

SouthSide Garage is having an Old Sevier SPOOKY Market from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Vendors will be selling Halloween-themed items and trick-or-treating is encouraged. Sip on your beverage of choice and enjoy music from DJ Captain Ed.

Monday

Barley's Taproom and Pizzeria is hosting a Skull Paint and Plant Party from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets will include a skull planter, a plant, paint, 3 Floyd's beer and plenty of decor. Tickets are $29.32. 

Tuesday

Knoxville Habitat for Humanity's spooktacular Trunk or Treat bash is taking place at 4 p.m. at 1501 Washington Avenue. If you want to decorate your trunk, you have to secure your parking spot with a ticket. However, if you are just wanting to trick-or-treat, you are welcome to head over anytime after 4 p.m. 

Wednesday

Knox County Public Library's Bearden Branch is hosting a Toddler Storytime from 10:15 a.m. to 11 a.m. The story time is designed for ages 2 to 3 and children must be accompanied by an adult.
