KNOXVILLE, Tenn. —

Thursday

A Chanukah concert will take place at World's Fair Park from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. as part of the Unite Through Light: In Solidarity with Brother & Sisters in Israel. The event includes menorah lighting, pre-concert festivities and a free concert from American-Israeli rapper Nissim Black. The concert is free and open to the public.

‘Tis the season to make your wreath for your door at the Holiday Wreath Making at Hi-Wire Brewing. From 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., you will be guided through how to make holiday-themed wreaths. Price is $35 per person. All materials, including wreath forms and decorations, will be provided.

Friday

Bring your family and friends to First Baptist Kingston as they put on "The Celebration of Christmas." Enjoy the choir, ensembles, dancers, nativity and narration to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of Jesus. The event is free to the public.

East Tennessee's favorite holiday tradition returns. The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra with have its 37th annual Clayton Holiday Concert at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium. Special guests include the Webb School Madrigal Singers, Knoxville Choral Society and more. Tickets for the event range from $26.75 to $62.

Experience a pioneer Christmas at the Museum of Appalachia. This holiday event involves an evening tour of the museum’s village. The cabins will be decorated with old-fashioned Christmas decorations, will feature live music, storytelling and more. Tickets for adults are $20, tickets for kids are $10 and tickets for families are $45. 

Saturday

It's the most wonderful time of the year. Come make cookies with Santa as he makes his first stop of the year on the Volunteer Princess during this cheerful one-hour cruise. Decorate cookies and wear your favorite holiday gear! Tickets are $30 per adult and $20 per child. You can purchase them here

Pentatonix will bring their Most Wonderful Tour of the Year to Thompson-Boling Arena at 7:30 pm. Tickets range from $48 to $294. You can purchase your tickets here.

Who's been making all those tracks? Time to find out at Ijams' Tracks and Scat! During this 2-hour workshop, you'll learn to identify common tracks, scat, various types of animal homes and read the landscape for other signs of activity and wildlife. General admission is $15. 

Sunday

Celebrate the season with Mike McGill’s 11th Annual Christmas Spectacular. The holiday spectacular features Mike McGill and local musicians for a Yuletide show to raise money for Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee’s Food for Kids program. The doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets for the event are $20.

Monday

Holidays on Ice is continuing to take over Market Square. Enjoy skating under the stars and twinkling lights while listening to music every night. Admission is $12 for adults and $9 for children ages 12 and under.

Tuesday

The Holiday Festival of Lights is continuing to showcase its three-quarter-mile greenway from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at The Cove at Concord Park. There will be a storytime and ornament decoration event where you can hear stories straight from visiting Christmas characters. The event is free to the public. 

The Best Thing About Christmas will happen at the Bijou Theatre at 7 p.m. This original musical by Nashville-based songwriter Derek Hinckley tells a faith-fueled story of a family driven to despair by tragedy and finding their way back to love and grace. Tickets are $27.

Wednesday

Cocoa, Crafts and Christmas Cheer is a heartwarming holiday extravaganza, blending festive Christmas crafts, twinkling lights illuminating the Ancient Lore Village and joyful holiday melodies. Tickets for adults are $25, children ages 4 to 10 are $16 and children 3 and under get in free.
