7th Annual Circus Extravaganza benefiting at-risk youth is this weekend

The money raised from ticket sales allows the studio to give circus classes to at-risk youth. This year's theme is "Outta Space."

The circus is in town! Dragonfly Aerial Arts Studio, a nonprofit, is hosting its seventh annual Circus Extravaganza at Pellissippi State Community College.

The money raised from ticket sales allows the studio to give circus classes to at-risk youth.

This year’s theme is “Outta Space.”

“The seventh annual Circus Extravaganza promises to be the best yet. It’s a space odyssey of sorts,” says Lissa McLeod, a DFACAS instructor, and performer. “This year, audiences will marvel at several new acts, such as the dizzying Spanish web, and enjoy many old favorites like trapeze, fabrics, teeter board, and acrobatics, all while watching an out-of-this-world story unfold.”

You can catch a show at four different times across three days:

● Friday, March 9 at 7:30 p.m.

● Saturday, March 10 at 2 p.m.

● Saturday, March 10 at 7:30 p.m.

● Sunday, March 11 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students or seniors. They are available for purchase at www.dfaas.com.
