KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Emily Crabtree joined WBIR in August 2024 as a multi-skilled journalist.
She grew up in Fresno, California and graduated from Fresno State in 2024. Emily spent the last three years at a news station in Fresno working as a production assistant.
When Emily was in high school, she was part of the Emmy Award-winning high school news team and did many feature stories on people around campus.
At Fresno State, she was able to work with former and current local news anchors on Fresno State Focus to learn how to better tell the stories that truly matter.
She is so excited to get to work in East Tennessee and learn more about the communities WBIR serves!
