Natalie Sweet, from LMU's Lincoln Museum, says the secret to her granny's stack cake is White Lily Flour, which used to be made in Knoxville.

Next, you add spices to the flour and mix it up.

Sweet says her grandmother taught her early on how to make the cake. Now, she makes it wearing her grandmother's apron.

After mixing the dry ingredients, put a little flour on your rolling pin and surface.

Add the wet ingredients and mix the rest of the dough with your hands.

Roll the dough into a thin, flat cake.

Sweet likes to bake hers in a well-seasoned cast iron pan.
