SEVIER COUNTY, Tenn. — Update:

I-40 East in Sevier County is back open after a single vehicle crash at mile marker 406 closed the interstate.

According to TDOT, I-40 East in Sevier County is currently closed after a single vehicle crash and fire occurred at mile marker 406 this morning.

TDOT reported that the crash and fire happened at 6:50 a.m.

Mile marker 406 is approximately one mile from the Sevierville exit.
