ROANE COUNTY, Tenn. — The left lane of I-40 East in Roane County is back open after a tractor-trailer fire at Mile Marker 356, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.
Mark Nagi, a spokesperson for TDOT, shared images of crews battling the fire.
As of 10:34 p.m. EDT, one lane is still closed. Nagi said this lane is expected to remain closed for several hours.
