The UT men's team is playing strong SEC this season. Plus, Coach Rick Barnes is taking on another challenge off the court too.
He's taking part for the third year in a row in the INFINITI Coaches' Charity Challenge. The competition starts with 48 of the top men's college basketball coaches in the country. Each picks a charity they are passionate about and the one with the most votes ends up winning 100 thousand dollars.
Barnes has chosen the Emerald Youth Foundation. This is the third year they have been selected by Coach Barnes to participate in the INFINITI Coaches’ Charity Challenge.
It is a bracket-style competition and so far Barnes has made it to Round 3 (top 16) and already won 10,000. However, he needs Vol fans to continue to vote to advance to the next round (top 4) to have a shot at the grand prize.
