Archer Brady Ellison is aiming for a trip to Rio this summer for his third Olympic Games in recurve. He previously competed for Team USA in Beijing and London, and has the tattoos on arms to prove it. Ellison is chasing gold and has been quotes as saying that he hopes to become the best archer that has ever lived.

BIRTHDAY: October 27, 1988

HOMETOWN: Globe, Arizona

OLYMPIC HIGHLIGHTS: Part of the U.S. archery team that won a silver medal at the 2012 Olympics in London. He placed 17th overall individually. He also competed for the U.S. at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, placing 17th individually and 9th with the team.

OTHER CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: Recently became the only six-time archery world cup finalist. He earned a silver medal individually and with the team at the 2015 Pan American Games. Had a seventh place finish at the 2015 Archery World Cup Final.

OTHER NOTES: Had to wear leg braces for over a year due suffering from Perthes Disease, a rare condition that affects the hip. He received his first compound bow when he was 7. When he's not competing, he likes to golf, camp, hunt and fish.
