Knoxville Marathon music! Who is playing along the route

Music will put a spring in your step along the Knoxville Marathon route! !

It's more than a marathon! There will be live music to liven up the runners for the 2018 Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon! These would also be great places for non-runners to line up and cheer on the participants!

Here's the schedule of performers:

Knoxville Catholic High Drum Line:

Location: Starting Line (Corner of Clinch Ave. and 11 Street) Time: 7:30 a.m

Terraplane Drifters:

Blues group performing Delta blues, Piedmont blues…and some Robert Johnson to start the race off just right.

Location: UT Campus (at Circle Park) Times: 7:35 a.m. – 8:35 a.m.

Mike Mauldin:

Acoustic tunes you can sing along to even when you're out of breath.

Location: Neyland Drive (at the Ag Campus Entrance) Times: 7:40 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.

Matthew Hickey Band:

Modern country and rock.

Location: The Corner of Neyland Dr. and Kingston Pike Times: 7:45 a.m. - 9:05 a.m.

Sam Hatmaker:

Originally from Knoxville, is a country singer-songwriter with Warner/Chappell Music in Nashville.

Location: Cherokee Blvd. (at the Fountain) Times: 7:45 a.m. – 9:15.a.m.

Dave Landeo & The Sol Beats:

Playing a variety of upbeat rock & groove covers and originals. Location: 1311 Cherokee Blvd. Times: 7:45 a.m. - 9:20 a.m.

Kincaid Dos:

They perform everything from feel good Motown to hard rock Metal.

Location: Cherokee Blvd. (at the gravel parking lot at the end of the trail) Times: 7:50 a.m. - 9:20 a.m.

Reggie and Vere’s Steel Band Sensation: I

sland Music Mahn! Former U.T. Cheerleader Reggie Coleman duo brings the Island music to the marathon!

Location: Third Creek Trail / Sutherland Apts. Times: 8:05 a.m. – 9:55 a.m.

Uncle Funky & Z. Rowe $ :

A classic-beach-rock band…with great harmonica playing…that will blow you into the next mile!

Karen E. Reynolds’ Writers Block Road Block Stage:

The Writer's Block Road Block stage featuring Independent Performing Songwriters hosted by Karen E. Reynolds.

The Tennessee Sons:

Modern day band playing current songs and songs dating all the way back to the sixties! Homegrown Tennessee boys.

Martin Rodriguez:

This Nashville singer/songwriter brings his talent to the marathon….helping the ½ marathoners

on their final leg…and boosting the full-marathoners to get their second wind!
