Anderson County and Clinton high school football coaches are facing suspension due to an altercation following last week's Thursday night football game at Anderson County High School.

Clinton High School said head football coach Randy McKamey has been suspended for one game, but that the suspension is being appealed.

Anderson County High School assistant coach and athletic director Gary Terry has been suspended for two games and AC assistant coach Russ Gillum is facing a one-game suspension.

Anderson County does not plan on appealing the suspensions.

"We hold our coaches to a high standard especially when it comes to sportsmanship, and they didn't live up to that standard," said AC principal Ben Downs.
