Alontae Taylor recommits to UT, has message for recruits

The Coffee County athlete announced his decision Wednesday on Twitter.

Tennessee added an explosive weapon on offense with the addition of four-star wide receiver, Alontae Taylor.

The Coffee County athlete announced his decision Wednesday on Twitter.

Taylor released a statement about his commitment to WBIR, that included a message to other recruits.

"I would like to say, Tennessee Football is back and if you're a recruit I'd be looking really close to Tennessee," Taylor said. I chose Tennessee because I'm a Tennessee boy and I wanna be a part of the rebuilding of this program! I BLEED ORANGE."

"Also, this is for all you Tennessee boys, it's time to take some pride in that and rep this state. We are Tennessee and we run our state."

The four-star WR de-committed from Tennessee in November and considered Alabama, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Louisville and Wake Forest.

As a four-year varsity starter, Taylor scored 75 touchdowns in 41 games and is the No. 5 players in the state.
