Wife's bomb threat hoax caused a security scare at Geneva airport, Reuters reports. A woman wanted to stop her husband from leaving and called in the threat which caused heightened security measures such as officers with machine guns on duty, vehicle checkpoints and closed entrances.
The Geneva Tribune adds that the woman's husband was with his mistress and his wife attempted to stop them both from boarding their flight.
Authorities have since located the woman who made the call and she admitted to making the call so she can stop her husband from leaving.
