Tenn. man arrested after brawl at ACC championship game

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A Tennessee man was charged as the "primary aggressor" in a brawl during the ACC Championship Game this weekend.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A Tennessee man was charged as the "primary aggressor" in a brawl during the ACC Championship Game this weekend.

On Saturday night, a cell phone video captured a brawl breaking out between fans during a game between the Clemson Tigers and Miami Hurricanes. The videos -- posted to Facebook around 8:40 p.m. -- show a fight breaking out during the first quarter of the game. Several people exchanged blows and obscenities.

The fight did not disrupt the game. At one point, the stadium video screen is shown in the film as Clemson running back Travis Etienne scored a short touchdown.

CMPD charged 22-year-old Reed Fletcher of Rogersville with misdemeanor assault and battery, according to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office.Fletcher was issued a $500 secured bond. Officials did not say if anyone else was arrested in connection with Saturday's brawl.

CMPD said Fletcher was the primary aggressor in the fight.
