Clark was an "acquaintance of the deceased," according to a press release from Cumberland Co. Sheriff Casey Cox.

The shooting happened on Saturday on Cherokee Trail in the Tansi Community. Linda Damewood, 74, of Crossville, was killed. Two others--- Andrew Schan, 63, and Ellen Cairns, 73, were also injured by gunfire.

Investigators have not released a motive for the shooting. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Damewood was a resident of the home where the shooting happened.

Clark is being held on a $2,020,000 bond and is scheduled for a Jan. 24 court appearance.

It's not the first time Clark has reportedly been in trouble with the law. A TBI criminal history record shows an arrest related to child support on April 30, 2013 and in April 2012 for allegedly manufacturing meth and having drug paraphernalia. Both incidents happened in Fentress County, the TBI report said.

Doneal Marie Clark, 35, of Clarkrange, was in the car when Clark was arrested. She was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a prohibited weapon and is being held on a $500,000 bond.
