The Oakland Raiders have filed for four trademarks this month for “Las Vegas Raiders,” a potential destination for the NFL franchise.

The filings with the United States Patent and Trademark Office — which covered everything from logo usage on uniforms to underwear and baby’ bibs — were made by Thomas A. Magnani, a San Francisco-based attorney on Aug. 20. Magnani listed the Raiders’ headquarters in Alameda, Calif., on the applications.

The Raiders began to explore Las Vegas as an option after they lost out to the Rams in a bid to return Los Angeles. Raiders owner Mark Davis has traveled to Las Vegas multiple times in recent months to talk about relocating the Raiders, who will play at least one more season in the antiquated O.co Coliseum.

The Raiders would be housed in proposed $1.4 billion in Las Vegas, an effort led by billionaire Sheldon Adelson, the CEO and chairman of Sands.

The Raiders, however, weren’t the first to seek out a trademark for the Las Vegas Raiders. Five others have been made, the first in January by a man in San Diego.
