ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The storm that walloped the East Coast earlier this week hit Rochester hard.
The city in Upstate New York had one of its snowiest days on record Tuesday— and if you know Rochester’s winter, that's a lot of snow.
Commutes were challenging at best. Snowfall intensified Tuesday morning, dropping roughly 18 inches and trapping motorists in gridlock. Plows could hardly keep up.
During that commute, automotive consultant Mark Reussow turned on his dash cam just in time to see a motorist struggling on Interstate 590. Reussow posted the video to his Facebook page and it was up to 62K views Thursday morning.
"I was driving to work," he said. "He was in front of me for about 10, 15 minutes and I thought he was going to bite it. He just got a little crazier and crazier. I posted it on Facebook and everybody started sharing it. It was interesting.
"I basically thought this would be for an insurance claim because I thought he was going to lose it. It was crazy."
