Mayor Rogero to pay up in wager with Chicago mayor

Mayor Rahm Emanuel tweeted at Rogero Saturday saying, if the Vols win, he'll send alcohol from a local distillery to Knoxville.

UPDATE: Mayor Rogero tweeted Saturday night saying she will make good on a wager with Chicago's mayor after the Vols lost to Loyola Chicago.

Rogero says she will be sending whiskey from Knox Whiskey to the windy city. She will also be making a charitable donation to Chicago-based youth mentoring program.

ORIGINAL STORY: Knoxville Mayor Madeline Rogero accepted a friendly wager from Chicago's mayor ahead of the Vols matchup against Loyola Chicago.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel tweeted at Rogero Saturday saying, if the Vols win, he'll send alcohol from a Chicago-based distillery to Knoxville. He will also donate to the Change Center of Knoxville.

But, if Loyola wins, Rogero says she will send some booze from Knox Whiskey and donate to a Chicago mentoring program called Youth Guidance.

The Vols are set to play the Loyola Ramblers Saturday night in the second round of the NCAA March Madness Tournament. Tipoff is set for 6:10 p.m. EST.
