'The Last Movie Star' filmed in East Tennessee comes out at end of March

Burt Reynolds was here to film "Dog Years" which is now known as "The Last Movie Star".

A movie filmed here in East Tennessee continues to generate a buzz in the media.

Burt Reynolds was here to film "Dog Years" which is now known as "The Last Movie Star".

The film previously known as Dog Years stars Burt Reynolds, Ariel Winter and Chevy Chase, among others. They filmed at locations all over town, including Market Square, the Tennessee Theatre and on the banks of the Tennessee River with Neyland Stadium in the background.

According to Entertainment Weekly, it's due to be released in theaters at the end of the month.

The story is about a former movie star looking back at the glory days that are behind him.

Rifkin talks about writing the script 10 years ago specifically with Reynolds in mind. He also talks about the other cast members and when the film was shown at the Tribecal Film Festival.

The movie is set to be released on March 30.
