The recent rainy weather has closed a portion of a Knox County park.
The back part of I.C. King Park, located off Alcoa Highway, is off limits because of road erosion caused by recent rains.
County officials are evaluating the cost of repairs and do not have an estimate as to when that part of the park could reopen.
I.C. King Park is 120 acres of popular with fishermen, walkers, and bikers. IT has access to to the Tennessee River and eight miles of nature trails.
