Museum of Appalachia raising money for Little Ponderosa Zoo after fire

The Museum of Appalachia is hosting a live and silent auction fundraiser event on Jan. 6.

East Tennessee is finding more ways to give to the Little Ponderosa Zoo weeks after a barn fire killed more than 40 animals.

The Museum of Appalachia is hosting a live and silent auction fundraiser event on Jan. 6.

Tickets are $50 and there will be plenty great auction items. The event will go from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Museum of Appalachia. The auction is at 7 p.m.

You can buy tickets at the Little Ponderosa Zoo and Rescue in Clinton, Co-op in Clinton, Tractor Supply in Oak Ridge, Anderson County Highway Department, or Anderson County Mayor's Office.

Checks should be made payable to The Little Ponderosa Zoo and Rescue if you don't have exact change.
