Knoxville man, 25, dies following single car crash on East Beaver Creek

Micah Slade Evans, 25, died shortly after 5 p.m. when deputies said his vehicle left the roadway, went through a chain link fence and then hit a tree.

A Knoxville man died Thursday afternoon following a single car crash on East Beaver Creek, according to the Knox County Sheriff's Office.

Micah Slade Evans, 25, died shortly after 5 p.m. when deputies said his vehicle left the roadway, went through a chain link fence and then hit a tree.

Evans was pronounced dead on the scene, authorities said. The Knox County Medical Examiner responded to the scene along with KCSO Forensics.
