Fire crews responded to a house fire on Christmas Eve that sent one person to the hospital.
The Knoxville Fire Department said crews were dispatched to 3733 Frostwood Road. When they arrived, crews found a home with heavy flames coming through windows and climbing up to the eves.
Three people were inside the home when they detected smoke and tried to extinguish the fire with a garden hose. The three eventually got out, but one had to be taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
KFD said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
