Dolly responds to Adele dressing like her: "you're so fabulous! I will always love you!"

Grammy-winning vocalist Adele took to Twitter Tuesday morning and posted a picture of her dressed up as Dolly Parton. And it's all the rage on Twitter.

Dolly Parton responded to Adele's post of a picture of herself dressed up as Dolly.

"Hey, Adele likes me! I was knocked out, I was so honored, I was so flattered, I loved your outfit, I thought it was great," Parton said in her video response that she posted to social media Wednesday morning.

Dolly went on to say that back in the day, she thinks she had an outfit just like the one Adele was wearing the in photo.

"In fact, I thought that was a picture of me back in the day. I was really touched with what you said," she said. "I was really honored that you would even know me that well or like my music so I just wanted to thank you and say you're making me look good so if I can have just a fraction of your fans, that will help me, that will help me buy some cheaper wigs and some more clothes and some more things."

So, keep an eye on Dolly's accounts because she hinted that you may see a photo of her dressed as Adele next.

"Ima dress like you next time. I love you," Parton said at the end of the video.

Grammy-winning vocalist Adele took to Twitter Tuesday morning and posted a picture of her dressed up as Dolly Parton. And it's all the rage on Twitter.

"The effortless queen of song, Dolly Parton!" Adele tweeted in a tribute to the country music legend, donning a salmon outfit, a blonde wig and holding a guitar. "We love you! We wish We could possess an ounce of your ability. You were the hero of our night! A hero of my life..."MORE: Dolly Parton sets not one, but two Guinness World RecordsAs of mid-Tuesday morning the post had more than 18,000 likes and 2,400 retweets.Adele ended her tweet with nothing, of course, but the title of one of the most iconic Parton songs of all time, "I'll (I will) always love you."
