The Campbell County Sheriff's Office identified a man that was found dead in Norris Lake.
According to the CCSO, 20-year-old Jordan T. Houston from Lexington, Ky. drowned near the Cedar Creek Bridge area of the lake east of LaFollette.
According to Sheriff's Office spokesman Darryl Chapman, authorities were alerted about 1:35 p.m. Monday that a swimmer had gone under the water and not resurfaced.
"The deputies and the LaFollette Rescue Squad arrived on the scene to discover that the swimmer had jumped from a boat," according to a release from Chapman.
The LaFollette Rescue Squad found the swimmer's body. The CCSO said the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency investigation confirmed no foul play was involved in the incident.
