Appalachian Bear Rescue will hold its benefit event, Ornaments of Joy, on Nov. 18.
Last week, a group of painters painters decorated holiday ornaments for the silent auction.
ABR Curators, local officials, artists and bear friends are in a friendly competition to see who will raise the most money with their ornament.
On Saturday, Nov. 18, you can go to the Vienna Coffee House in Maryville from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to bid on your favorite ones.
The hand-painted ornaments will be available for $10 each.
There will also be a very limited number of Santa Bear ornaments.
