If you're a boss and your workers told you they were late because of a horse on the Interstate, they weren't lying. And we have the pictures to prove it.

Traffic is crawling along, because a horse was hogging the lanes between Highway 157 and I-255.

While some cars passed the horse, a couple of drivers in trucks tried to box the horse in, and get it to stop.

He would slip through, and kept wandering down the road.

Eventually, they got the horse to stop and a man got a rope around its neck. They walked him to the side of the road.

Eventually Missouri State Troopers arrived and took the horse away.

The owner of the horse was eventually located. Mollie Spickerman of Glen Carbon says "Loki" is grounded and has been temporarily moved to another property in Illinois until they can figure out how he got out. They think he jumped the fence!
